ERP Instructor/Trainer #1933

Peoplesoft Instructor/Trainer
Location: Remote – must reside within Texas
Project Length: 12-18 months

Our healthcare client, is in need of an ERP Instructor/Trainer for a 12-18 month contract role and be part of a Peoplesoft Financials upgrade initiative. The ideal candidate will lead the delivery of the training to all the existing users, project managers and project resources for a Peoplesoft project. The Instructor/Trainer must work closely with the program areas and IT project team to assist with the implementation.

The primary work location will be REMOTE, however the resource MUST reside within the state of Texas and be available to travel to Austin upon request.

**This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a great new project rollout.  The position offers a solid compensation package with some additional advancement/extension opportunities into other departments if interested.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing training curricula for ERP Systems
  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience, specifically with Peoplesoft Financials
  • Must be able to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively
  • Experience with web-based learning management systems and e-Learning authoring tools
  • Experience producing documents for processes and use of software systems
  • Experience implementing training curricula for instructor led courses and videos
  • Experience with video/audio recording and editing
  • Experience with Microsoft platform - SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Familiarity with general IT SDLC processes and on Agile Projects
  • Experience delivering in person and virtual classes
  • Ability to multi-task and perform according to deadlines and release schedules

Daily Duties:
  • Prepare, conduct, and deliver the training programs for Peoplesoft Financials
  • Collect data and analyze audiences and training needs, based on new business processes and policies, and apply these into successful training delivery
  • Write documentation and materials to be used in the delivery of the training and design exercises to enhance the presentations
  • Gather, analyze, translate and compose technical information into clear, readable materials to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
  • Provide resources and information to all users (classes, workshops, handouts, etc.)
  • Coordinate with software vendors to incorporate information for instructor led/virtual software specific trainings
  • Deliver on-site and web-based training courses as required
  • Facilitate other virtual classes, seminars and links for “how-to” guides
  • Plan and maintain training schedules/calendar/logs
  • Respond to training requests and new user requirements
