PeopleSoft HCM Instructor-Trainer #2154

Position: PeopleSoft HCM Instructor/Trainer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Project Length: 6-12 months

Our esteemed healthcare client is seeking an experienced ERP Instructor/Trainer for a contract position lasting 6-12 months to contribute to a PeopleSoft HCM upgrade project. The successful candidate will lead training sessions for existing users, project managers, and project resources involved in the PeopleSoft project. The Instructor/Trainer will collaborate closely with program areas and the IT project team to support the implementation process.

**This is a hybrid remote position, as some in-office work may be necessary to conduct training classes.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing training curricula for ERP systems
  • At least 3 years of specific experience with training PeopleSoft HCM
  • Experience with Texas state agency PeopleSoft branded CAPPS HR/Payroll training is preferred
  • Ability to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in web-based learning management systems and e-Learning authoring tools
  • Experience in creating documents for processes and software systems usage
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing training curricula for instructor-led courses and videos
  • Knowledge of video/audio recording and editing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft platforms such as SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Understanding of general IT SDLC processes and Agile projects
  • Experience delivering both in-person and virtual classes
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines and release schedules

Daily Duties:
  • Plan, conduct, and deliver training programs for PeopleSoft HCM
  • Analyze audience and training needs based on new business processes and policies for effective training delivery
  • Develop documentation and materials for training delivery, including designing exercises to enhance presentations
  • Translate technical information into clear, readable materials for technical and non-technical personnel
  • Provide resources and information to users through classes, workshops, and handouts
  • Collaborate with software vendors to incorporate information for instructor-led/virtual software-specific training
  • Conduct on-site and web-based training courses as necessary
  • Facilitate virtual classes, seminars, and provide "how-to" guides
  • Manage training schedules, calendars, and respond to training requests and new user requirements.
