Organizational Change Manager
Location: REMOTE (must be local to the greater Austin, TX area)
Contract Length: 6-12 months

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Organizational Change Manager for one of our key clients in the Austin, TX area. The Change Manager will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating successful organizational change initiatives. This includes assessing the need for change, developing change management strategies, and implementing them effectively across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in implementing successful change initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in change management, preferably in a leadership role
  • 7+ years of working in change management methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional leadership and influential abilities, with the capability to drive change at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build strong relationship with stakeholders (internal and external) and influence without authority
  • Experience with large scale organizational change efforts
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills for leading work sessions and team meetings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus
Responsibilities:
1. Assess the Need for Change:
   - Identify and evaluate the need for change within the organization
   - Conduct thorough analysis to assess the impact of the proposed changes

2. Develop Change Management Strategies:
   - Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop change management strategies and plans
   - Define clear objectives, milestones, and deliverables for each change initiative
   - Develop communication plans to ensure that all stakeholders are adequately informed about the changes and their impact

3. Implement Change Initiatives:
   - Lead and manage the implementation of change initiatives in accordance with established plans
   - Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of change projects
   - Monitor progress, resolve conflicts, and address issues that may arise during implementation

4. Provide Leadership and Support:
   - Provide guidance and support to leaders, managers, and employees throughout the change process
   - Foster a culture of change readiness and resilience within the organization
   - Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on the change process and help them adapt to changes

5. Evaluate and Measure Results:
   - Develop metrics and evaluation frameworks to assess the success of change initiatives
   - Analyze and report on the outcomes and impacts of the changes implemented
   - Continuously improve change management practices based on evaluation results and feedback
