Digital Marketing Operations Manager

Our client is looking to add a Digital Marketing Operations Manager to their Marketing team.  The Digital Marketing Operations Manager, will be responsible for the daily operational processes and procedures that support the digital marketing programs and campaigns to deliver results. This role will work hands-on within the Sales Force Marketing Cloud platform to support the execution, maintenance and continuous improvement of marketing automation functions necessary to enable the marketing team to perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. The chosen candidate will work cross-functionally with key marketing partners, key strategic agency partners and the digital analytics teams, IT and data providers to yield desired outcomes.
 
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience supporting marketing operations in a high-tech/fast pace corporate environment
  • Previous hands-on experience with email, web/online marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing and display media preferred
  • Good experience with marketing automation tools and programs such as Smartsheet, HubSpot, Salesforce, Oracle, WordPress
  • Must be an expert with the MSOffice suite and some project management tracking software
  • Team player with strong cross-functional and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker, who can help build processes and act as an advisor to teams in a fast-paced, global environment
 
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design, develop and maintain core marketing operations processes to support collaboration and communication among the marketing and operations teams
  • Identify gaps in processes and systems to optimize workflows
  • Provide cross functional project management by collaborating with marketing peers as well as other internal business units and with third parties or external vendors
  • Utilize strong project management skills to track and deliver critical marketing and operational projects on time
  • Partner with the Digital Analytics team and Marketers to design, develop and maintain critical marketing metrics to enable data driven decisions throughout the marketing team
  • Provide status updates on a consistent basis about progress and completion of various projects
  • Escalate project risks and issues to appropriate leadership in a timely manner
  • Assist in financial management and department budget allocation
  • Assist with onboarding new resources and adding them to all appropriate marketing tools, platforms and programs (Adobe, Smartsheet, MS Teams, Last Pass, HubSpot, etc)
  • Ensure constant review of operations and provide process improvement ideas through automation while maintaining and best practices
