Information Security Analyst – Policies and Processes Contract – 24 months Location – Remote, USA
At least 2-4 years of experience in common information security and risk management frameworks
Security + certification (at a minimum) is required
2+ years of experience with NIST Risk Management and Cybersecurity Frameworks
Strong knowledge of information security practices, procedures, and regulations
Previous experience in a government agency environment is highly desirable but not required
Our client is seeking an Information Security Analyst with experience in Security Policy for a long-term project. The position can be based in Texas or remotely, but the consultant must be located in the USA.
Coordinate with internal Information Security colleagues and various IT stakeholders to develop, update, and implement Information Security publications
Draft, review, approve, publish, maintain and update ongoing security policies
Coordinate documentation review periods with stakeholders and adjudicating stakeholder questions, comments, and recommendations with Information Security Office leadership
Assist with tracking the status of publications throughout their lifecycle
Support Information Security training efforts to educate stakeholders on new policies or updates
