Business Analyst – Product/Software Implementations

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience (preferably in accounting/software implementations)
  • Good interviewing and listening skills to elicit detailed requirements 
  • Strong analytical skills for transforming defined business needs into software requirements 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create effective requirements documents and review them with key project stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
  • Basic understanding of software design and development
Our client, a leader in Healthcare IT Solutions is growing their Dallas office! A relatively young company with already over 100 employees globally, they are expanding again and looking to add 2-3 Business Analysts to their US team.  The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience (or have a degree in accounting, finance, business) and have some understanding of the IT healthcare compliance and payments arena.  Candidates should also have an appetite for learning, a strong customer service background with the ability to implement quality projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather, interpret, and translate customer needs into functional and non-functional requirements
  • Works with developers and account managers to ensure smooth implementation of products/systems
  • Facilitate critical communications by interacting with users, project team members and development personnel
  • Act as the subject matter expert on the compliance solution and tools for clients
  • Maintain legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements for enhancements
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Develop risk management strategies for clients in regard to compliance with healthcare reform laws
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to the portfolio of customers
  • Build and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Become a trusted advisor with key customer stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the company's solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Assists with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
