We are currently recruiting for a Manager of Software Engineering for one of our high profile clients in the North Dallas area. The Manager of Software Engineering will be called upon to partner with key stakeholders from a variety of business units to develop, implement and optimize core business systems while managing a team of technical in-house resources, external consultants and third-party vendors.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
Strong web-based applications background and backend REST API development
Strong expertise across multiple BI platforms and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Solid exposure to ETL toolsets (Alteryx)
Expertise with multiple database platforms including relational databases (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
Knowledge of Cloud-based data warehouses (Amazon Redshift, Snowflake)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee a team of software engineers through maintenance and development of software applications and business intelligence functions to deliver enhanced technology solutions for the organization
Lead the development and delivery of IT solutions across a variety of technologies including: Custom web/mobile development, Cloud Solutions in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud; Data Driven solutions, AI and ML, CI/CD in DevOps, Robotic process automation
Leverage knowledge of design principles and frameworks to define, perform, manage, and document all aspects of development throughout the software development life cycle, (SDLC), including estimation, sprint planning, requirements gathering, architecting, prototyping, testing, issue/risk management, secure code repositories, change control and continuous delivery
Provide strategic input on budgets, policies, procedures and architectural design standards
Identify and implement appropriate solutions to fulfill business requirements
Partner with business units to recognize new application and integration needs
Work with executive team and stakeholders regarding project status updates
