Senior QA Tester - Salesforce
Location: Austin, Texas (MUST RESIDE IN AUSTIN AREA)
Contract Type: 12-18 months


We are seeking a highly experienced QA Test Engineer to join the Software Quality Assurance team for a Salesforce enhancements project. This position requires an individual with at least 8 years of experience in QA automation and expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases for large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in Salesforce testing, and proficiency with tools like Selenium, Jira, JMeter, and Webdriver.IO

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in manual test script execution
  • 8+ years of experience with automated QA testing, including test case creation and execution
  • Experience leading UAT testing activities and working through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong experience testing Salesforce applications
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and automated testing tools such as Selenium, Webdriver.IO, and JMeter
  • Proficiency in Agile (Scrum) methodologies, and experience with tools like Jira and XRay/Zephyr
  • 3+ years of experience with accessibility testing for web applications
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to document and explain test results and defects
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts and cases for Salesforce applications using Selenium, Webdriver.IO, and JMeter
  • Perform manual testing and load/performance testing as required
  • Track test case execution, document defects, and provide regular test reports using Jira and XRay/Zephyr
  • Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and troubleshoot test case issues
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure alignment with project goals
  • Provide on-call support as needed
