SVP P&C Insurance Location: Austin, Texas – Hybrid Permanent Position

Their flagship product is experiencing rapid growth, and they are poised to expand into new offerings within the property and liability insurance space. You will play a critical role in the launch of a new product that will drive the continued success and growth of their insurance portfolio.
Qualifications/Requirements:
8+ years in commercial insurance with expertise in product development, distribution, underwriting, and operations leadership. Excess and Surplus Lines experience is a plus.
Proven ability to scale products and drive revenue growth in fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of insurance regulations and compliance, with the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks.
Successful track record of executing strategies that align with business goals and capitalize on market opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building relationships with key stakeholders.
Proven leadership in building high-performance teams and fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
Experience across distribution, claims, risk management, and financial modeling.
Entrepreneurial mindset, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Set strategic direction for the commercial insurance portfolio, aligning with company goals.
Lead growth by overseeing coverage, underwriting, reinsurance, and claims operations.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including partnerships and distribution channels.
Collaborate with executives to define product strategies, pricing, and risk management frameworks.
Build and lead a high-performing team, mentoring and guiding them to achieve key objectives.
Ensure regulatory compliance across all products.
Engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
