Power Apps Developer
Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
Contract: 6-12 months

*Must already be local to the Austin, TX area to be considered.

We are looking for a skilled Power Apps Developer with experience in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages) to design, develop, and maintain custom low-code applications. In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders to optimize processes, integrate data sources, and ensure applications align with organizational needs. You will also help mature the development platform, providing guidance on best practices and leading continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years in application development, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages)
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dataverse (data modeling, management) and custom Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps)
  • 2+ years of experience with Power Fx, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, JSON, and Azure DevOps
  • Experience using pre-built/custom connectors and integrating with external data sources securely
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Power Platform Developer Certification (or similar) is ideal

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build custom applications using Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages), ensuring they meet business requirements
  • Integrate applications with external data sources (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) using Power Platform connectors and Dataverse
  • Assist in enhancing the organization’s low-code development platform, establishing best practices, and improving team capabilities
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide after-hours support when needed
  • Work with business users to understand requirements, and document development processes for scalability and future maintenance
