Salesforce Implementation Project Manager
Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid/Telework) - *Candidates who apply must ALREADY RESIDE IN TEXAS
Contract: 12-18 months


We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Implementation Project Manager to lead and manage the development and implementation of enhancements to a significant Salesforce government project. This role will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of a large-scale enterprise implementation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, Salesforce, and working in Agile environments, particularly within state or federal projects.

Required Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
  • Agile Certification (ACP/Scrum Master)
  • 7+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementations
  • 5+ years of experience with State of Texas Project Delivery Framework (must have previous government project experience)
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects within Agile (Scrum) frameworks
  • Ability to understand and communicate both technical designs and business processes
  • Experience creating project charters, work plans, and presenting to leadership
  • Strong communication skills to liaise between business and IT teams
  • Experience with Jira and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of Salesforce enhancements for a healthcare initiative
  • Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, tracking, and documentation
  • Apply industry-standard project management practices, utilizing PMI framework and Agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand project objectives, ensure alignment, and communicate progress
  • Create and maintain project charters, work plans, and other project documentation as required
  • Provide on-call and technical support as needed throughout the project
  • Present project updates and technical designs to leadership and other oversight entities
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope while managing risks and issues
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
