Senior Data Architect – Strategic Data Solutions Contract Length: 6-12 months Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to design and manage innovative data architecture solutions across a variety of environments for our Dallas client, including Data Warehousing, Operational Data Stores (ODS), and Data Replication/ETL initiatives. This individual will also play a critical role in establishing and maintaining Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess recent hands-on experience with Oracle platforms and tools, strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring and guiding teams in data management best practices.

Qualifications:
At least 6 years of experience in Data Architecture, including OLTP, Data Warehousing, and Big Data platforms
5 years of experience in Solution Architecture, with an emphasis on large-scale data solutions
5 years of experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance best practices
Recent hands-on experience working with Oracle technologies, including Oracle databases, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle GoldenGate, or similar tools
Extensive experience in Data Movement and Processing, including Middleware, ETL, API, OLAP, and best practices for tracking and managing data flows
Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and collaborative
Key Responsibilities:
Establish policies, procedures, and guidelines for Data Governance across the organization
Ensure adherence to data standardization, maintain the Data Dictionary and Data Lineage, and ensure accessibility for key teams
Collaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to develop best practices for data transformations, movement, and derivation—especially within Oracle-based environments
Coordinate with support teams to ensure proactive support methodologies are in place for all aspects of data movement and transformations
Mentor Data Architects and Data Analysts to ensure adherence to best practices in database design and data management
Partner with Business and Enterprise Architecture teams to develop the most effective architectural solutions from a data perspective
Create a strategic roadmap for implementing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions
