Workday Systems Administrator Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days per week) Permanent Position
We are seeking a certified Workday Systems Administrator to lead the configuration, launch, and ongoing management of our enterprise resource planning platform. This position reports to the Director of Application Support and serves as the primary subject matter expert for all Workday-related initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Workday certification required
Minimum of five years of enterprise system administration or support, with strong preference for Workday experience
Demonstrated success leading or supporting Workday implementations, including configuration, testing, and training
Knowledge of Workday HCM and Core Financials is strongly preferred
Experience with integrations, Workday Studio, EIBs, calculated fields, and security role management is highly valued
Background in public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end implementation of Workday, collaborating with finance, HR, technology, and accounting leaders to ensure effective deployment of all modules
Provide post-launch support including troubleshooting, enhancements, user training, and integration oversight
Maintain system security, monitor performance, and recommend improvements to optimize functionality
Partner with stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational needs and priorities
Ensure accurate documentation of processes and procedures while supporting ongoing compliance requirements
