Network Engineer
Contract Length:  6-month Contract to hire
Location: Ft. Worth. TX
Hybrid  **On-site 3 days and remote 2 days per week**

 

Overview

We’re looking for a knowledgeable Network Engineer to support and enhance our organization’s networking environment. This role delivers reliable network solutions, enhances security, and ensures smooth daily operations across multiple systems and platforms.
 

What You’ll Do

• Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and related systems
• Support routing, switching, wireless, and voice technologies
• Monitor network performance and quickly resolve issues
• Assist with network security controls, firewalls, VPNs, and policy updates

 

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networking
• Background with Cisco routing and switching preferred
• Working knowledge of protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
• Experience with DNS/DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and authentication tools
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, preferably Azure
• Understanding of VoIP solutions and network monitoring platforms
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and install networking equipment
