Systems Analyst
Contract: 12-Months (No C2C or Third-Party Vendors)

Location: Tallahassee,  Florida  (5 days, onsite)

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to analyze, develop, and support enterprise applications that enable complex financial business operations. This role collaborates with business stakeholders, developers, and quality assurance teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, resolve application issues, and ensure high-quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with expertise in application development, systems analysis, relational databases, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts, terminology, and SQL.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET technologies (preferred).
  • Experience with or knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks, including Entity Framework and nHibernate (preferred).
  • Experience developing and maintaining software systems that support complex financial business processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to perform complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into effective business solutions.
  • Ability to apply research, industry best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies to problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and provide technical leadership to development teams.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and build effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications and services supporting complex financial business processes across large, cross-functional projects.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, from development and integration through staging and production.
  • Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues using effective problem-solving techniques and collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement by contributing to solution design, technology roadmaps, process standardization, development methodologies, and technical documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional and distributed teams to ensure projects are effectively communicated, supported, and delivered to quality standards.
  • Stay current on emerging software development technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying them to improve solutions and processes.
