The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with expertise in application development, systems analysis, relational databases, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of relational database concepts, terminology, and SQL.
- Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET technologies (preferred).
- Experience with or knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks, including Entity Framework and nHibernate (preferred).
- Experience developing and maintaining software systems that support complex financial business processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to perform complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into effective business solutions.
- Ability to apply research, industry best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies to problem-solving and process optimization.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and build effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications and services supporting complex financial business processes across large, cross-functional projects.
- Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, from development and integration through staging and production.
- Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues using effective problem-solving techniques and collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement by contributing to solution design, technology roadmaps, process standardization, development methodologies, and technical documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional and distributed teams to ensure projects are effectively communicated, supported, and delivered to quality standards.
- Stay current on emerging software development technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying them to improve solutions and processes.
