QA Test Automation Engineer
Contract Length: 12+ months

**Must have previous experience testing healthcare applications
We are seeking a QA Test Automation Engineer with strong experience designing and executing automated testing solutions. This role will develop automated test scripts, prioritize test scenarios, create test execution plans, and support functional, application, and regression testing throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced testing environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in QA automation, software testing, or a related field
- Strong experience designing automated tests and creating scripts to execute testing functions
- Experience prioritizing test scenarios and developing test execution plans
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test environments
- Experience performing functional, application, and regression testing
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies
- Ability to interpret business and technical requirements and update test documentation accordingly
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work directly with stakeholders during testing cycles
- Some experience with Katalon preferred
- Familiarity with information architecture, information management methodologies, and enterprise software architecture
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and processes
- Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
- Create test plans, test cases, execution plans, and supporting documentation
- Prepare and maintain test environments for application testing
- Perform functional, application, regression, and automated testing
- Review requirements and ensure test plans and documentation align with project objectives
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and document defects and findings
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project teams, and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues
- Support testing activities throughout the software development life cycle
- Develop documentation and processes for automated testing
- Provide testing status, results, and reporting to project stakeholders
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall quality

- Work independently while collaborating effectively with project and technical teams
- Manage multiple priorities and meet testing deadlines
- Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and recommendations clearly
- Develop a strong understanding of the business area and applications being tested
- Work directly with stakeholders as needed throughout testing cycles
