Technical Change Manager
Contract: 12-Months (No C2C or Third-Party Vendors)
Location: Tallahassee,  Florida  (5 days, onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Change Manager to lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities supporting scalable IT projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in PMBOK project management principles, change management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and organizational readiness, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across business and technical teams, and support successful project delivery. This onsite role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to partner with executive leadership, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders across complex technology initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of PMBOK principles, methodologies, tools, and project management best practices.
  • Knowledge of Organizational Change Management (OCM) principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
  • Experience leading Organizational Change Management initiatives for enterprise-level IT projects.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing stakeholder engagement strategies, communications, training, and organizational readiness plans.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, project teams, stakeholders, consultants, and vendors.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, deliverables, and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and recommend solutions that support successful organizational change and project objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the OCM workstream lead for IT projects; liaise with other workstream counterparts to ensure integration with other workstreams, and deliver OCM information relating to scope, budget, risk, and resources of the IT work effort being managed.
  • Coordinate OCM tasks, activities, and assignments; monitor daily work efforts and execution of tasks; perform quality reviews of work products; provide status reports; and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate the development and completion of OCM-related project materials.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on all OCM deliverables and confirm alignment with preceding, dependent, and succeeding deliverables across both OCM and other workstreams.
  • Ensure all OCM deliverables meet or exceed acceptance criteria, are delivered on time and within budget, adhere to quality standards, and meet project expectations.
  • Track key project milestones for all projects with an OCM component.
  • Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and communicating opportunities for OCM to achieve project goals.
  • Participate in and facilitate OCM workstream meetings, workshops, and implementation activities.
  • Support OCM activities across IT project types, including enterprise system implementations, cloud migrations, cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives, and software development projects.
