IAM Project Manager
Employment Type: Contract (12+ months)
Location: Remote, Texas (MUST RESIDE IN TEXAS)

We are looking for a battle-tested IT Project Manager who has led large, complex, mission-critical IT implementations including an enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) modernization initiative with significant technical complexity, third-party vendor dependencies, and security and compliance sensitivity that demands judgment and discipline.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-scale IT implementations, not task coordination, end-to-end delivery ownership
  • Experience leading IAM or CIAM initiatives, including identity governance, access provisioning, authentication/authorization platforms, or customer-facing identity solutions
  • Strong vendor and contract management experience including deliverable oversight, schedule accountability, issue escalation, and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams with significant interdependencies across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting to and aligning senior leadership
  • Experience developing RFPs, SOWs, project charters, scope documents, and business requirements
  • Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment without direct authority

Responsibilities
  • Lead the IAM/CIAM modernization initiative across all phases from initiation through implementation and transition to operations
  • Develop and maintain full-scale project plans including scope, schedule, resource requirements, communication plans, and critical path management
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract performance, holding third-party providers accountable to deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
  • Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating appropriately and driving resolution
  • Facilitate executive and stakeholder communications including status reviews, milestone reporting, and decision briefings
  • Develop written business requirements and process models in collaboration with technical, security, and operational teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple departments, aligning priorities and maintaining momentum across workstreams
  • Support procurement activities including RFP development and vendor selection
  • Develop transition and training plans to support successful handoff to operations
  • Operate with minimal supervision and bring the executive presence, delivery discipline, and operational judgment this environment demands
