Role Overview: The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, development, and execution of capital projects. You'll manage budgets, schedules, and quality assurance, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. Your role will involve problem management, risk mitigation, and ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field
Must hold a Project Management Certification (PMP) OR Agile Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
At least 6 years of experience managing software application projects using SDLC, PMLC, and Agile Scrum Methodology.
4+ yearsof experience as a project manager using relevant project management frameworks
4+ years of experience with major information resources projects
Skills and Competencies:
Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and schedules
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
Effective at resolving issues, managing risks, and implementing solutions
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals
Strong attention to detail with documentation and quality assurance areas
Key Responsibilities:
Guide the planning, development, and execution of capital projects, ensuring they meet organizational objectives
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates. Monitor and ensure projects remain within budget and on track
Oversee project deliverables and quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Maintain regular communication with management, customers, and project team members
Address feedback and provide updates as needed
Handle problem resolution, risk identification, and mitigation. Empower and motivate the project team
Communicate project goals to executive management and coordinate projects to meet strategic commitments
Ensure projects adhere to organizational policies and procedures
