Vice President of Client Services – Human Capital & Benefits Strategy
Location: Preference given to candidates in the State of Ohio but will consider Remote (U.S. based) – Travel required (up to 35%)
Position Type: Full-Time


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Client Services. This position is responsible for overseeing key client accounts, managing relationships, and driving revenue growth through innovative human capital and benefits solutions. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned business consultant with a deep understanding of employee benefits, compliance, and human resources, who can guide a team to deliver exceptional service to some of our client’s largest and most complex customers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, HR, or related field)
  • 8-10 years of experience in sales, consulting, or account management within the employee benefits or human capital management industry
  • Must hold Insurance License (Life & Health) required in your state of residence
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex client relationships and driving revenue growth
  • Experience leading teams and delivering exceptional service to clients in a consultative capacity
  • Knowledge of compliance, wellness programs, and HR best practices
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and related business software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Financial acumen and strategic focus in human capital and benefits management

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, acting as a trusted advisor to meet and exceed client needs through strategic consultation
  • Lead planning, execution, and renewals for major accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and driving satisfaction and revenue growth
  • Manage and mentor a team of Senior Associates, and Benefit Analysts, fostering a collaborative environment focused on client success
  • Partner with M&A and Business Development teams to drive new business, assist in sales efforts, and support client onboarding and transitions
  • Ensure client programs meet regulations, optimize existing benefits offerings, and negotiate cost-effective solutions with carriers
  • Provide expert consulting in HR, compliance, wellness, and finance, identifying process improvements for clients and internal teams
  • Lead education initiatives to keep clients informed on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes, ensuring proactive service
