SAP Concur Implementation Consultant Location: Remote, USA (must be physically located in the US – Central Time Zone ONLY) Contract Position: 5 months + potential extension
We are seeking an experienced SAP Concur Implementation Consultant to lead our client’s first-time deployment of SAP Concur. This role requires both technical configuration expertise and functional business process knowledge to ensure a smooth setup, testing, training, and go-live. The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding the organization through implementation while identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of SAP Concur configuration and administration
At least one full-cycle Concur implementation (requirements → go-live)
Strong expertise in Concur Expense module
Proven experience with audit rules, workflows, and role-based permissions
Familiarity with expense policies and compliance
Experience conducting system testing and end-user training
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Prior experience helping organizations migrate from manual processes
Background in process improvement or consulting
Experience integrating Concur with ERP/HRIS systems preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Configure SAP Concur Expense module to align with business requirements
Set up audit rules, approval hierarchies, workflows, and role-based permissions
Oversee data preparation and migration from manual (paper/Excel) processes
Develop and execute testing plans (unit, integration, UAT) and troubleshoot issues
Create user guides and deliver role-based training for employees, managers, and administrators
Support users during go-live and post-launch adoption
Advise stakeholders on best practices for expense policies, compliance, and reporting
Collaborate with finance, HR, and IT teams to align configuration with business goals
