PeopleSoft Developer - HCM #2886

PeopleSoft Developer
Location: Dallas, Texas (Onsite)
Contract Position: 6-9 months

We’re looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Developer (HCM) to help lead an exciting new Time and Labor initiative designed to optimize a dynamic two-week work schedule. This role is a great opportunity to be part of a team that values creativity, problem-solving, and the power of collaboration.

Qualifications:
  • Strong functional expertise in PeopleSoft HCM, particularly Time and Labor.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft development tools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, CI, Integration Broker, SQR).
  • Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and test complex scheduling solutions.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Experience with Kronos timekeeping systems and integration with PeopleSoft.
  • Familiarity with PeopleTools 8.61, with emphasis on enhanced development, security, and performance features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and configure enhancements in PeopleSoft Time and Labor, including rules, schedules, and pay periods for custom two-week rotations.
  • Develop and customize solutions using PeopleSoft tools such as Application Designer, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and SQR.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Customize pages, components, and workflows to support unique time tracking and labor distribution needs.
  • Conduct unit and system integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy in calculations, accruals, and reporting.
  • Work with stakeholders to validate solutions, provide documentation, and deliver end-user training as needed.
  • Manage data using SQL, PeopleSoft data structures, and migration tools.
