ERP Project Manager
Location: Austin, Texas (ONSITE 5 days/week)
Contract Position: 18 month Contract (with strong potential for extension and career advancement)


Genius Road is seeking an ERP Project Manager to support a high-visibility, long-term IT initiative with the PMO office. This role will lead the delivery of enterprise-level projects, working closely with internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing complex technical implementations and thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. The Project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and managing the timeline for multiple concurrent projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience large and complex IT projects including Enterprise Systems Integrations
  • Strong experience creating and managing key project documentation, including project timelines, risk and issue logs, communication plans, stakeholder registers, and other essential artifacts.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting public sector or government-related projects
  • Must hold a PMP or CBAP certification
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and enterprise system integration practices
  • Experience with SAP and third-party system implementations
  • Proven ability to manage conflicting stakeholder requirements
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Ability to lead large meetings with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:
  • Lead large-scale IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, business units, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions
  • Manage system integration efforts, including SAP-related implementations
  • Drive project execution, track deliverables, and manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Maintain and update project artifacts such as timelines, risk logs, communication plans, and stakeholder registers
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level communications and project updates
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Serve as escalation point for project and vendor-related concerns
