IT Auditor
Location: Remote, Texas
Contract Position: 1+ year

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Auditor to assess critical technology functions, evaluate risks, and ensure the effectiveness of IT controls. You’ll play a key part in safeguarding systems, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, and delivering high-quality audit results that strengthen organizational resilience.

Qualifications:

• Experience executing major components of audits, including risk management and cybersecurity.
• Strong background in conducting risk assessments and system-level evaluations of threats and vulnerabilities.
• Skilled in documenting processes, procedures, and findings in a clear and organized manner.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with teammates, clients, and leadership.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive client relationships during audit engagements.
• Knowledge of broader business risk implications (financial, legal, reputational, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct IT audits across technology operations, cloud infrastructure, applications, third-party systems, and cybersecurity.
• Perform risk assessments, design and execute audit procedures, analyze evidence, and document processes.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify vulnerabilities, and develop action plans to prevent security breaches.
• Prepare clear audit documentation and communicate results through reports and presentations to management.
• Manage multiple risk and compliance deliverables, including deadlines, updates, and documentation.
• Support System Security Plans (SSPs) and related risk analysis efforts.
• Oversee concurrent audit projects, ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to timelines.
• Contribute to engagement administration (e.g., hours and budget tracking).
