Project Manager – Workday Implementation Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days per week) Permanent Position
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Project Manager (PMP) to lead the organization’s Workday implementation, with a focus on finance and human resources transformation. This role will oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, collaboration across departments, and successful adoption throughout the enterprise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
Six or more years of program or project management experience, preferably in large-scale business transformation or ERP/HCM implementations
Strong business operations experience in finance, HR, or enterprise administration
Proven ability to coordinate senior-level stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational change management skills
Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Workday, Oracle, or SAP, with emphasis on project oversight rather than technical configuration
Workday implementation experience preferred
Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean, or Agile/Scrum are a plus
Background in nonprofit, public sector, or mission-driven organizations is beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of Workday implementation with a focus on finance and HR functions
Partner with senior leaders including the CFO, CHRO, CAO, and Director of Application Support to align project activities with organizational objectives
Drive stakeholder engagement and change management to ensure broad adoption and long-term success
Oversee project planning, scheduling, risk management, and performance tracking
Facilitate communication across teams to ensure timely decision-making and project progress
