Workday Implementation Specialist Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days per week) Permanent Position
We are seeking a Workday Implementation Specialist to support the deployment of our new HR systems and processes. This role will play a critical part in guiding the organization through its Workday implementation, with an emphasis on human resources transformation. The specialist will work closely with project leadership and senior stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption, alignment with business objectives, and long-term success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience or training with Workday HCM strongly preferred
Background in HR operations, employee data management, or HR systems support
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
Business operations experience in HR is highly valued
Experience working in public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of Workday implementation with a focus on finance and HR functions (including payroll and benefits)
Assist in managing functional aspects of the Workday implementation with a focus on HR processes
Collaborate with the Project Manager and senior leaders across finance, HR, accounting, and technology to support project outcomes
Support organizational change and cultural adoption by facilitating communication and training efforts
Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data during migration and post-launch
Document processes, track progress, and provide support to colleagues and project stakeholders
