Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid – Onsite 4 days per week)
Permanent Position
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support core HR functions such as onboarding, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits administration, and engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and retention. This role plays a key part in supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday, including data migration, system testing, user training, and daily HRIS operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Workday HRIS experience required
- Strong understanding of HR principles and employment practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and pre-employment processes
- Assist with employee onboarding, engagement, and recognition programs
- Track and coordinate employee leaves, accommodations, and workers’ compensation cases
- Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management matters
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports
- Manage HRIS transactions, data integrity, and reporting
