Business Analyst – Nutrition Systems
Location: Remote, Texas
Contract Position: 12months+

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead efforts that improve business processes and enhance system performance through technology-driven solutions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in driving process improvement, system innovation, and operational efficiency across the organization. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business process reengineering and process mapping methodologies.
  • Strong background in Agile methodology and user story analysis.
  • At least 1 year of experience with the Automated Nutrition Systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, developing solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Identify, document, and reengineer business processes to increase efficiency and improve system functionality.
  • Prepare solution options, risk assessments, and cost-benefit or ROI analyses to guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Develop system documentation, test plans, and quality standards to support efficient design and implementation.
  • Participate in Agile activities, including user story development, sprint planning, testing, and user acceptance validation.
  • Analyze policies, procedures, and program impacts to ensure system alignment and compliance with business needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users, IT staff, and other functional teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
  • Facilitate service requests, technical specifications, and user acceptance testing to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Identify potential risks, dependencies, and issues, and work proactively to mitigate them.
  • Maintain consistent communication and updates to stakeholders on project status, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively on complex assignments requiring sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
