Policy Improvement Administrator
Contract Length:  10 months+

Location: Remote, Texas


We are seeking a Policy Improvement Administrator to assess, strengthen and modernize an organization’s policy management system. This role supports the development of clear, sustainable processes for reviewing, updating and communicating policies and procedures. The position is entering the Design, Development and Rollout phases following completion of an initial assessment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in policy development or a related discipline
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, from front-line staff to executive leadership
  • Background in policy development, implementation, analysis and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience identifying operational gaps and implementing best practices
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in technical writing for policy and procedure documentation
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an enhanced Policy Information Management System using established policy assessment and gap analysis methodologies
  • Provide technical writing and editing support to update and finalize organization-wide policy sets in alignment with accreditation standards
  • Support a cross-functional Policy Review Team by guiding review workflows for new, revised and retired policies
  • Enhance the central Policy Library, including structure, metadata organization and communication processes for policy updates
  • Finalize and roll out the Policy on Policies, supporting procedures, templates and staff training tools
  • Recommend and implement improvements that ensure timely policy review cycles, compliance checks and change management practices
  • Prepare analysis and recommendations for leadership and internal teams
  • Schedule, plan, document and facilitate meetings for policy committees and related working groups
