Senior .NET Application Developer
Contract Length:  2 years+

Location: Remote, USA (must currently reside in the US for consideration)

Summary
We are seeking a Senior .NET Application Engineer to support advanced development and maintenance of enterprise web applications. This role covers all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing support. The position requires strong technical problem solving, the ability to interpret and apply business rules, and the skill to produce maintainable, high quality software.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Experience developing .NET web applications using Asp.Net MVC, C#, and LINQ
  • Experience with SQL and writing efficient queries
  • Experience using Version Control
  • Recent hands-on experience with Razor View Engine and/or Entity Framework
  • Experience with web development and RESTful API desig
  •  Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
  • Experience using Microfocus ALM Octane or similar ALM tools
  • Experience building accessible web applications
  • Knowledge of SDLC principles, software design techniques, and application programming practice
  • Ability to design and execute data-driven test cases and verify application functionality

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET web applications using Asp.Net MVC, C#, LINQ, Razor, and Entity Framework
  • Analyze system requirements and convert them into logical, structured, and maintainable solutions
  • Develop and consume RESTful Web APIs for application integration
  • Build modern, responsive, and accessible web interfaces that meet usability and accessibility guidelines
  • Troubleshoot software, data, and system issues to identify root causes and implement long-term resolutions
  • Create and update technical documentation, specifications, test cases, and defect analysis
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC principles, coding standards, and organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to support application functionality, performance, and user experience
  • Support quality assurance efforts by performing data-driven testing and validating system behavior
