Senior Archer Developer Location: Austin, TX (ONSITE) Contract Duration: 12–18 months *ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM LOCAL CANDIDATES*
Our client in Austin is seeking an experienced Archer GRC Developer/Administrator to plan, implement, deploy, and support user-friendly, high-quality Archer solutions. This role supports Information Security, Data Privacy, and system stakeholders and requires the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Archer Certified Professional (ACP) or Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator
8+ years of experience developing and administering Archer (GRC), with a focus on Assessments & Authorization use cases, IT Controls Assurance Program Management, Data feeds, Questionnaires, Advanced workflows, Mail merge, Access roles and record permissions
5+ years of experience performing solution architect and business analyst functions including, Current-state analysis and to-be design development, Requirements gathering, User story creation with defined acceptance criteria, Test script development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination
5+ years of experience with system integrations and interface development, including JavaScript, XML and XSLT, REST APIs, Custom objects
3+ years of knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (NIST RMF/CSF and Texas Information Security Standards)
Additional experience with ServiceNow, particularly within GRC and SecOps modules
Proven ability to bridge communication between technical teams and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Archer solutions with a focus on Assessment & Authorization, IT Controls Assurance Program Management, Issues Management, custom applications and integrations
Lead detailed business and functional requirements gathering and translate findings into technical solutions and user stories.
Configure and customize Archer applications, including questionnaires, forms, workflows, calculations, data feeds, and access controls, ensuring alignment with governance and compliance standards.
Develop and integrate RESTful and web services to support API connectivity between Archer and other enterprise systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
Implement client-side validations and policies using JavaScript/jQuery.
Produce and maintain technical documentation for system development, configuration, testing, integrations, and project artifacts using standard templates.
Track and report development progress using project management tools.
Adhere to established change management and governance processes for production deployments.
