We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to design and develop impactful, user-friendly curriculum and training programs. This role blends instructional design and technical writing to create engaging, accessible content that supports IT certification initiatives and drives effective learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience designing and delivering training curricula
- 5+ years of technical writing and business documentation experience
- Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex technical information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience developing content across multiple formats (ILT, eLearning, job aids, video)
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning concepts
- Ability to adapt training for diverse technologies and audiences
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop IT training curricula, including course outlines, instructor-led materials, job aids, and multimedia content
- Translate complex technical concepts, systems, and processes into clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance of content
- Evaluate and enhance materials for accessibility, usability, and overall learning effectiveness
- Continuously improve training content based on feedback and evolving business needs
