Data Integration Analyst
Contract Length:  12+ months with a potential extension

Location:  Texas (Remote)

We are looking for a strong Data Integration Business Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of data, systems, and business processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, working across multiple systems to ensure seamless data exchange, accurate reporting, and high-quality system performance. You’ll play a key role in supporting enterprise data initiatives, integrations, and system validation efforts.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Systems Analyst
  • Strong experience with system integrations, APIs, and data exchange (XML, JSON, REST, SOAP)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and analyzing data across multiple systems and databases
  • Experience with data mapping, transformation, and data warehouse environments (relational/dimensional)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience with SIT/UAT testing, test cases, and end-to-end system validation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with secure data exchange (SFTP, certificates)
  • Familiarity with data visualization/reporting requirements
  • Experience in regulatory or highly data-driven environments
  • Exposure to public sector or workforce systems (preferred but not required)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and define requirements
  • Perform data analysis using SQL across multiple systems to support integration and reporting needs
  • Responsible for data mapping, transformation, and validation across integrated platforms
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements, including system and interface specifications
  • Facilitate design sessions and support development teams with integration requirements
  • Develop and execute test cases, SIT/UAT plans, and support end-to-end system validation
  • Track defects, support issue resolution, and ensure system accuracy and performance
  • Document workflows, data flows, and system processes to support ongoing operations and enhancements
