We are seeking a Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end proposal operations for a fast-growing cybersecurity services organization. This role is responsible for managing RFP responses, developing proposal content, creating marketing collateral, and supporting business development initiatives across technical and executive teams. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can independently manage multiple deadlines, rapidly learn technical concepts, and leverage AI tools to streamline proposal development while maintaining exceptional quality and accuracy. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and enjoys building scalable processes from the ground up.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience managing the full RFP/RFQ response lifecycle from intake through submission
Strong proposal writing, editing, and technical documentation skills
Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in a professional environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
Experience developing and maintaining proposal libraries, content, templates, and tracking systems
Ability to write clearly and persuasively for both technical and executive audiences
Experience coordinating with technical teams, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong attention to detail, formatting, quality control, and compliance requirements
Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts within cybersecurity, IT services, or related industries
Experience creating statements of work, capability statements, presentations, one-pagers, and other business development materials
Light PowerPoint or presentation design experience preferred
Self-starter with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the full proposal and RFP response process from opportunity evaluation through final submission
Review bid opportunities and support go/no-go decision-making based on strategic alignment and win probability
Develop high-quality proposals, statements of work, and client-facing deliverables with support from AI tools and internal subject matter experts
Coordinate with technical teams, sales leadership, and stakeholders to gather content, ensure compliance, and meet submission deadlines
Build and maintain proposal content libraries, templates, response materials, and tracking systems
Create marketing collateral including capability statements, pitch decks, presentations, case studies, blog content, and white papers
Improve proposal workflows, operational efficiency, and content management processes over time
Ensure proposal accuracy, consistency, formatting quality, and alignment with customer requirements
Support ongoing business development and marketing initiatives as needed
Operate independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal oversight
