Business Process Consultant Contract: 12-Months (No C2C or Third-Party Vendors) Location: Tallahassee, Florida (5 days, onsite)
We are looking for a Business Process Consultant to analyze, evaluate, and improve business processes that support organizational and technology initiatives. This role partners with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements, develop process improvements, and support the successful delivery of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and align with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of IT business analysis experience and 4 years of business process engineering experience.
Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and/or functional requirements.
Strong background documenting requirements and/or user stories and other work items in Azure DevOps.
Ability to design user interface screens.
Experience analyzing and improving complex business processes.
Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills.
Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Office Suite, and business analysis tools.
Ability to elicit and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, and site visits.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
Develop process documentation, workflows, and business recommendations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and support IT initiatives.
Facilitate meetings, provide project support, and ensure successful solution delivery.
Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to support business objectives.
