ETL Analyst

Location: Austin, Texas (hybrid – must be local!)
Contract Duration: 12 months


We’re looking for a ETL Analyst with proven experience in data integration, ETL automation, and SQL development. This role supports large-scale data engineering efforts and involves close collaboration with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable data workflows and documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Informatica (IICS or PowerCenter), advanced SQL scripting, and working within Agile delivery environments.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
    8+ years developing ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or PowerCenter
  • 8+ years integrating data from multiple sources: Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Excel, Access, PDFs
  • Strong SQL skills; experience designing and optimizing complex scripts
  • Proficient in Python scripting for data automation and testing
  • Experience with data analytics, warehousing, and performance reporting
  • Strong technical documentation skills using Visio, Erwin, MS Office, and MS Project
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and participation in sprint ceremonies
  • Strong problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Experience with AI-enhanced test automation
  • Familiarity with observability/testing infrastructur
  • Background in testing AI-integrated platforms
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements, translate into technical specs, and document data workflows
  • Design, build, and validate ETL processes using Informatica
  • Develop complex SQL scripts for data transformation and modeling
  • Automate data validation and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to optimize data integration strategy
  • Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Create and maintain documentation, process diagrams, and test plans
  • Support defect tracking, testing coverage, and continuous improvement initiatives
