Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networking
- CCNA or CCNP required
- Strong background with Cisco routing and switching
- Working knowledge of protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
- Experience with DNS/DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and authentication tools
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, preferably Azure
- Understanding of VoIP solutions and network monitoring platforms
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills is a must
- Ability to lift and install networking equipment
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and related systems
- Support routing, switching, wireless, and voice technologies
- Monitor network performance and quickly resolve issues
- Maintain diagrams, documentation, and change records
- Work with vendors and service providers on installations and repairs
- Assist with network security controls, firewalls, VPNs, and policy updates
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Contribute to team projects and general IT initiatives
