Senior Technical Writer
Contract Length: 12-18 months
Location: Austin, TX - ONSITE (Monday-Friday)

Qualifications:
  • 5 +years in technical writing or a related field
  • Strong Business Analysis & Process Planning
  • Project Management skills
  • Previous experience in Policy Development and Public Administration
  • Adept at presenting complex information to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Documentation: Create and maintain both user and technical documentation for various application teams. Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documents.
  2. Technical Expertise: Offer insights on technical aspects of applications, ensuring procedures are logically structured and easy to follow.
  3. Content Creation: Produce a range of technical documents, including articles, reports, brochures, and manuals. Oversee the integration of graphics and other visual elements.
  4. Coordination: Organize and edit technical documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  5. Business Analysis: Participate in the analysis and planning of business processes, policies, and procedures.
  6. Project Management: Lead project activities to meet departmental goals. Analyze operations and prepare comprehensive reports.
  7. Consulting: Provide expert advice and technical assistance to program staff, helping to identify and solve issues.
  8. Evaluation: Assess service delivery methods and recommend improvements. Develop and refine procedures and workflows.
  9. SDLC Methodologies: Apply Software Development Life Cycle methodologies effectively.
