Business Analysts (3 openings)
Contract Opportunity – 18 months + potential extension
Location – REMOTE – but must be located in Texas

**The Consultant will be working REMOTELY for this role reporting into a team that is based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 7+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role and Business Process Reengineering
  • At least 5+ years of experience in System Analysis and Design (including mockups and/or wireframes)
  • Must have good experience developing user stories and use cases
  • Experience supporting large corporate or government initiatives (project monitoring, communications, escalations, etc)
  • Previous Project management expertise working with various stakeholders within the whole SDLC
  • Experience working on projects utilizing Agile project management methodologies
  • Strong experience with Microsoft toolset – Word, Project, Visio, Excel
  • Excellent communication skills – written/verbal

Our education based client, is in need of several Business Analysts for a long-term project to work on numerous interesting and ongoing projects. This is an elite organization relied upon to provide trustworthy oversight for a variety of educational initiatives across the state of Texas. The Sr. Business Analyst serves as the conduit between the program/customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow.

Daily Duties:
  • Collaborate with clients, technicians, and managerial staff to evaluate business processes
  • Document specific requirements
  • Uncover areas for improvement
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Perform requirements analysis
  • Effectively communicate all requirements to cross-functional team members and management
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Help prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion/implementation of projects
