Salesforce Project Manager
Position Type: 12 month contract

Location: Austin, TX (Can work remotely as long as CURRENTLY residing in Texas)

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a new Salesforce application, within our client’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of the project to ensure it meets organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management for large-scale enterprise implementations, with a focus on Salesforce projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience with the State of Texas Project Delivery Framework or similar federal/state project management experience.
  • Proficient in Jira and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.
  • Knowledge of project management and software development methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues effectively.
  • Some prior experience in state procurement and contracting processes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Immunizations Consolidated CRM project.
  • Utilize feature-driven Agile methodology to manage and track development progress.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, monitoring status, tracking issues, risks, and budget.
  • Provide weekly status updates  and conduct regular project team meetings.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of risks, issues, and contingency plans.
  • Ensure SDLC artifacts are developed, and business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Oversee and coordinate business and technical teams, facilitating knowledge transfer and effective teamwork.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational guidelines, procedures, and alignment with the Texas Project Delivery Framework.
