PeopleSoft HCM Security Administrator #2368

PeopleSoft HCM Security Administrator
Contract Length: 12-18 months
Location: REMOTE (must currently reside in Texas)


Our client is in need of an experienced PeopleSoft HCM Security Administrator for an HCM upgrade. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and integrity of the system during the upgrade process. As a Security Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring security systems, analyzing and recommending improvements, and implementing robust security measures to prevent unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience working on implementations or upgrade projects for PeopleSoft in a security admin capacity
  • Must have worked with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Employee & Manager Self-Service and Time and Labor modules
  • Extensive experience managing PeopleSoft fluid and work center security
  • Strong experience creating formal documentation, conducting work sessions, and presenting analysis
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Teams)
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
  • Must have 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
  • Worked with SharePoint and Jira
  • Knowledgeable in working with Scrum Framework
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting with strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in communicating complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Configuration & Analysis: Configure and oversee security systems, assess security requirements, and suggest enhancements. Monitor network activity to detect and address potential threats.
  • Network Policies & Authorization: Develop and enforce network policies and authorization roles to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • System Upgrade Management: Manage security modifications related to the system upgrade. Provide detailed analysis, document changes, and oversee the implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of security adjustments.
  • Project Support: Assist with fluid navigation design and support various project activities, including documentation, system testing, and other tasks as needed.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate efficiently with a diverse team in a remote work environment. Demonstrate strong communication skills, set clear deadlines, and provide timely updates.
