Communications and Marketing Coordinator

Qualifications/Requirements
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+years of overall marketing experience, especially paid and organic social media, promotional marketing, lead nurturing, and email
  • Excellent technical writing skills and previous experience creating digital newsletters
  • Strong understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics, marketing automation technology, and email software
  • Strong background in marketing and media terminology and metrics
  • Experience using social media platforms for paid advertising, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Experience with out-of-home advertising, including billboards and gas station advertising
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to manage several tasks/projects and budgets simultaneously

We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator to aid in the development and implementation of wildlife protection marketing campaigns in Texas.  The Contractor can work remotely in Texas and be responsible for coordinating communication with campaign funding partners and tracking contracts with partners, providing direction to contracted ad agency and in-house creative teams and reviewing/approving creative materials.

**Must be a strong team-player, self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple projects independently. 

Specific Duties:
  • Write, curate, plan, execute and measure the overall digital strategy across paid advertising, social media, email, video, blog, PR and white papers
  • Plan, write, design, and report on email communications to partners and the public
  • Write, edits and report on paid and organic social media
  • Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages
  • Track budgets
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing efforts while providing guidance on optimizing marketing strategies
  • Maintain brand consistency in tone, style, and format for all content produced
