Network Administrator
Location: Austin, TX (onsite)
Contract Position

We are seeking a technically skilled Network Administrator to be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and Internet systems. You will ensure continuous network availability, security, and performance through vigilant monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
  • Experience administering Windows Server (2012 or later) in Active Directory environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, and user provisioning.
  • Solid knowledge of core TCP/IP services (LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Meraki wireless infrastructure.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN environments, wireless access points, and telecom systems.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as PRTG, MRGT, or ManageEngine.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft server environments and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Hands-on experience with VoIP systems and document management platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience supporting compliance-driven IT environments (e.g., audits, documentation, regulatory standards) preferred.
  • Experience managing Group Policy Objects, access control lists, and automation platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with capacity planning and security hardening preferred.
  • Experience delivering user training or technical guidance to non-technical staff preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services, including provisioning, email systems, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Configure and support TCP/IP services and GPOs; manage access control and automation tools.
  • Provide operational support for VoIP systems and document management infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Cisco networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Administer Meraki wireless infrastructure and maintain LAN/WAN systems.
  • Monitor and analyze network performance using tools like PRTG, MRGT, and ManageEngine.
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Document systems and changes for audits, compliance, and internal reporting.
  • Conduct tuning and capacity planning to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures and respond to vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users.
  • Assist in evaluating and integrating new hardware/software solutions.
