Business Analyst Contract Opportunity – 6 months + potential extension Location – REMOTE – but must be located in Texas **The Consultantwill be working REMOTELY for this role but must be a CURRENT RESIDENT IN TEXAS.
Qualifications/Requirements:
BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field
At least 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role and Business Process Reengineering
Excellent background in System Analysis and Design experience
Strong experience in Data Analytics, analyzing raw data
Experience supporting large corporate or government initiatives (project monitoring, enhancement communications, escalations, etc.)
Previous Project management expertise working with various stakeholders within the whole SDLC
PMP certification is highly desirable
Experience working on projects utilizing Agile project management methodologies
Strong experience with Microsoft toolset – Word, Project, Visio, Excel
Excellent communication skills – written/verbal

Daily Duties:
Collaborate with clients, technicians, and managerial staff to gather requirements and evaluate business processes
Perform requirements analysis and document specific requirements
Uncover areas for improvement and enhancements
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Effectively communicate all requirements to cross-functional team members and management
Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
Facilitate all testing for Web Based applications
Help prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users
Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion/implementation of projects
