REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, OR equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience in overall network topology, network security, internet, intranet, extranet technologies and operating systems
6+ years of technical security experience including a strong understanding of processes, Secure Architecture, Controls, Tooling and Risks
Good understanding of Cloud Software (SaaS), Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS), Network, Virtualization, Vulnerability Threat Management, Identity Management, Data Security, Business Continuity, Application and Data Security
Experience with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, PCI
Some familiarity with Third Party Risk Management
Certifications preferred – CISSP or CISM, Fortinet ISE, Cisco CCNP, Splunk
Prior experience using email security gateways and ideally Proofpoint or Microsoft Exchange/Online
Strong understanding of security controls and risks in relation to architecture and design for cloud applications and infrastructure, messaging/email, data in transit or at rest, identity management, data center network and security infrastructure, etc.
Strong experience with Advance Disaster Recovery and Data Protection
Strong analytical and organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, and team oriented
Ability to navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organizations
Our client is looking to add to their Cyber Security team and in need of an ISSO to oversee architecture, technical controls, appropriate tools and be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure frameworks, identity access management, single sign-on, multi-factor, privileged access management, cloud security, data security and forensics. The ideal candidate will have the ability to influence and build strong relationships across multiple programs; they will also have the ability to cultivate strategic business partnerships acting as one of the SMEs for the organization when it comes to security to assist the CISO in a variety of enhancements to the Cyber Security Program.
DAILY DUTIES
Assist with designing, developing and managing the organization’s security platforms and solutions
Strong focus on enhancement of the security architecture, technical controls and tools; email security, cloud infrastructure, security tools, infrastructure tools, networking, Windows AD
Work with the development and infrastructure teams
Manage and maintain vulnerability threat management program
Manage and maintain the employee security incident response program
Consult with IT technical services staff to evaluate, select, install and configure hardware and software systems that provide appropriate security functions
Regularly perform security checks, troubleshooting and assessments regarding Application Security, Information Security, Data security and IT architecture
Identify problems in a timely manner and implement solutions for improvement with respect to policy standards and processes
Implement new processes with the goal to optimize company's security system
