RPA Project Manager #2012

RPA Project Manager
Contract Length: 12-18 months
Location: REMOTE (must currently reside in Texas)


Our client, a highly regarded Texas State agency is looking for a strong RPA Project Manager that will focus on the automating a beneficiary system through Robotic Process Automation. The objective is to enhance efficiency in addressing beneficiary fraud, waste, and abuse investigations by creating a unified source for evidence. The Project Manager will also be responsible for creating project artifacts, providing technical support, and presenting to leadership.

The role involves:
  • Implementing standard Agile project management practices
  • Utilizing the PMI framework to establish a project organization and methodology within Agile (Scrum)
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders on complex business processes
  • Communicating effectively with both clients and IT teams throughout

Qualifications/Requirements:

Required Experience:
  • 7+ years of Project Management Experience for large-scale Enterprise Implementations
  • PMP Certification
  • 4+ years of Agile (Scrum) Experience
  • 3+ years of Development Experience
  • State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience is highly preferred

Daily Duties:
  • Oversee design and development work
  • Manage the project using feature-driven Agile methodology
  • Oversee and track development progress
  • Ensure project assignments and progress align with project timelines
  • Develop and manage project plans
  • Document risks, issues, and contingency plans
  • Ensure the resolution of issues and removal of project barriers
  • Provide weekly status updates (written and verbal)
  • Conduct regular project team status meetings
  • Oversee the development of SDLC artifacts
  • Ensure business requirements are translated into technical specifications
  • Guiding and facilitating the SDLC process
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Possessing effective communication and presentation skills
