Finance Systems Manager
Location: Austin, TX (hybrid onsite 2 days/week – must live in the Austin area for consideration)
Project Length: Contract-to-Hire

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Systems Manager to lead a team of 6 individuals.  The Finance Systems Manager will manage and support the Oracle Fusion platform, ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting system. This role requires 5-7 years of experience in finance system administration, particularly with Oracle Fusion and at least 2 years of management experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in finance system administration, specifically with Oracle Fusion
  • Advanced Expense Configuration Certification is a plus
  • Experience leading and managing small teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Spread Sheet Server, Oracle Fusion Cloud Financial Systems,  systems, and KRONOS Dimensions, or comparable ERP systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage software upgrades and modifications: Lead projects to update Oracle Fusion, coordinating with vendors and IT Services to resolve issues and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Provide training and support: Train personnel on Oracle Fusion processes, data retrieval, and system functionalities. Support users with ongoing training and system updates.
  • Accounting and recordkeeping functions: Oversee financial data entry and account reconciliation within Oracle Fusion, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review system-generated reports: Regularly verify the accuracy of reports, addressing discrepancies and ensuring records are balanced.
  • Support external audits: Provide necessary system access, data, and documentation for auditors, ensuring smooth audits and compliance with regulations.
  • Customer service and issue resolution: Address user inquiries, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure timely resolution with strong follow-through.
  • Effective communication: Maintain clear, confidential communication with managers, teams, and other stakeholders regarding system updates and issues.
  • Document processes and configurations: Maintain up-to-date records of system configurations and processes to support training and troubleshooting.
  • Test system configurations: Ensure new system changes and features are tested thoroughly for functionality and performance before implementation.
