We are currently recruiting a Network Administrator to join this amazing team for several new statewide initiatives. Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Network design, implementation, hardware configuration and performance tuning
- At least 5 years of Routing background (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
- At least 4 years of experience with ServiceNow
- At least 4 years of experience with IPv6 design and implementations
- Ability to rack and stack networking hardware within onsite and off-site racks in accordance with requirements
- Ability to provide technical support through various means of communication
- Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to meet quality, productivity, turnaround time and other expectations
- Knowledge of network technologies (i.e. routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, network and routing protocols, DNS)
- Proficiency in wide area networking (including SDWAN), wireless networking, and industrial Ethernet is highly preferred
General Duties:
- Install network hardware, components, and cabling
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues that may arise
- Collaborate with business units and project managers
- Assist operations team in the form of network design, implementation, and problem resolution
- Optimize stability, availability, reliability, and performance of networking infrastructure
- Conduct and make recommendations on LAN & WAN resource, performance, and capacity planning
- After hour support may be required
