Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in telecommunications/network problem resolution activities
- Strong tech support background along with network monitoring and administration experience (DHCP, DNS, routers, firewall, etc.).
- Requires hands-on experience with IP subnetting, Telnet/SSH Clients, Raritan or Terminal Server Remote Access
- Experience with Cisco ASA and Fortinet firewalls is highly desired
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, implementation, management and operational support of Network Infrastructure
- Provide technical support and assist with the design of network solutions
- Install networking technologies and support existing networks
- Operate, monitor and manage network infrastructure
- Assess existing network configurations and make recommendations based on product specifications
- Configure equipment and software to meet business needs
- Train staff on the solution
- Ensure proper documentation to the solution for ongoing support
