Senior Project Manager
Contract –18-24 months
Location – Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Our client is reviewing a platform and looking to engage 2 Senior Project Managers. This is a long-term project forecasted to start in October 2023 and go until October 2025. The Consultant(s) will be part of the PMO performing highly complex IT project and contract management.

Our client is reviewing a platform and looking to engage 2 Senior Project Managers. This is a long-term project forecasted to start in October 2023 and go until October 2025. The Consultant(s) will be part of the PMO performing highly complex IT project and contract management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Business or a related field
- Must have a minimum of 10 years in business analysis, project management
- Must have PMP certification
- Proven negotiation skills
- Must have prior experience working directly with any Texas State Agency
- Some experience working with Texas Project Delivery Framework documents (TPDF)
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions
- Solid experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
- Experience working with project teams utilizing Agile project management principles/methodology
Project involves:
- Detailed project planning, project oversight and tracking
- Contractor procurement, invoicing and budget tracking
- Project estimation, risk mitigation, and preventive and corrective actions for overruns
- Establish project goals and objectives
- Analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
- Facilitate and document business process mapping and business process reengineering
